San Tan Mountain Regional Park

San Tan Mountains Regional Park is a large urban park located in Maricopa County. It encompasses over 10,000 acres and preserves a portion of the San Tan Mountains, south of Queen Creek. Great place for trail running and mountain biking. While it was a hidden gem for many years, a lot of people have discovered the great trails and desert scenery, making it very crowded on weekends during the winter months. Several different hiking and biking trails for beginners to advanced levels. Horses allowed. Dogs allowed but must be leashed at all times. Small info center with a few indigenous animals on display. Small but clean public restrooms. Admission is $7 for vehicles (higher for RV and horse trailers) and $2 for walk ins or bikes. The views and flora will be spectacular in spring.

Queen Creek Olive Mill

Gourmet market & restaurant starring locally produced olive oil & specialty foods plus mill tours. This is a fun Italian/Olive focused store with a wonderful deli that makes all kinds of delicious primarily Italian food including sandwiches, salads and pizza. Tour, Shop, Eat, Repeat at Queen Creek Olive Mill - Arizona's only working olive farm and mill. Family owned and operated, our 100-acre farm with over 7,000 olive trees is a true blossom to bottle experience. Visitors are able to learn first-hand how olives are pressed into fresh extra virgin olive oil on our educational Olive Oil 101 tour conducted daily. Our in-house roastery, Superstition Coffee, will ensure that you'll get the freshest cup of coffee you've ever had. With plenty to taste, discover and enjoy, Queen Creek Olive Mill is a true agritourism experience! Book your next event with us as well. There are lots of tables and fire pits scattered amongst the olive trees where you can sit in the shade and enjoy your lunch. If you're looking for a fun, unique place to go for lunch I highly recommend it. This place is cool to see where the olive trees are kept and processed but this place is basically an olive store with an olive tree background and short tour. if you like olives I would recommend a relaxing 2 hours to budget to take a tour, eat and enjoy the scenery

Mansel Carter Oasis Park

Town park with ball courts, playgrounds, a splash pad, fishing pond, skate plaza & more on 48 acres. The lake at Mansel Carter Oasis Park is the Town's first lake and efficiently uses the Town's recovered water and avoids using potable (drinking) water for landscaping at the park. It's a huge, beautiful park. It has a large, pirate themed splash pad and tons of great equipment for the kids. The steepness from the play equipment down the splash pad with a lake front makes it less than ideal for really small kids. We don't usually come to this park because every time we are there, the playground is over run with teenagers that run right over the small guys. Lake, courts, fields, skate park, splash pad, playground. Fine addition to the Queen Creek area. Highly recommend stopping at this park if you need a place to relax, exercise, let the kids run around, etc.

Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre

This is a great place to learn to be an equestrian. your children will love it. It is an amazing place and I recommend that you go there as soon as possible. You will not regret it. It is an experience worth more than money can buy. Great activities for the whole family. This is a pro rodeo, with all the events well organized and entertaining. Seating is mostly by general admission, so get there early for a seat of your own choosing. Good food vendors, plenty of riding paraphernalia booths, and a midway as well. Parking is $5 and plentiful. This is an annual event for Queen Creek, and very popular. We loved it!

Founder's Park Splash Pad

Water park in Queen Creek, Arizona Splash Pad at Founders' Park
Over 4,000 square foot, the splash pad is located at Founders Park, across the street from Town Hall featuring various above groundwater features. Founder'sPark also has a community center, basketball courts, a skate park and a really nice playground. The splashpad is totally gate and only has one entrance, which is to the north of the splashpad. I loved that it was gated. It is every moms dream. Thank you, Queen Creek,AZ. Four large ramadas surround the splashpad to the east, west, north and south
