Wegovy injection also has additional product-specific indications, including cardiovascular risk reduction and treatment of certain adults with MASH.

Wegovy Dosing: Wegovy dosing depends on the form prescribed. The usual recommended injection maintenance dose is 2.4 mg once weekly, while Wegovy HD 7.2 mg weekly is approved for certain adults. Wegovy tablets are gradually increased to a 25 mg once-daily maintenance dose. Dose selection and escalation should always follow the prescribed product instructions.

What Is Rybelsus?

Rybelsus is a once-daily oral tablet form of semaglutide approved for type 2 diabetes. It should be taken on an empty stomach with a small amount of plain water, followed by at least 30 minutes before the first food, beverage, or other oral medication of the day.
